The best justification for an Internet Church

by David on December 10, 2008

The questions get asked a lot. Is it viable, is it tangible, is it really community? I can answer that a whole lot of different ways, but this answer is my favorite:

It’s Transformational

Just ask these people…

Such a great thing to do, to put faces to the stories. I’m so glad we get to be a part of these people’s lives. And so glad when I’m away from home that CF goes with me everywhere!

I love , love ,love my online church family…. My friends are only a click away and never too busy too help me out and give me the confidence I need to get through tough situations…God is good he provides in ways we never thought possible… And that online pastor and the tech team they work so hard to orchestrate Gods plans to make sure we have all we need each week ……Thanks to all!!!

The online services and community have been amazing this year for me as I recovered from my accident. Having church from my bed when I was having a rough day and not able to face going out was invaluable and I felt connected to the wider Body of Christ.

The prayer and support has been amazing and you have all been part of the miracle God is and will work in my life. Just today my Occupational Therapist commented that compared to a month ago she is really positive about my capacity to return to work before too long.

Some people no doubt find the concept of online church a bit strange, but I think it is genius as it allows you to connect from wherever you are and whatever situation you are in. Great work and thanks!
