Massive “Save our Starbucks” campaigns underway.

by David on July 19, 2008

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that since Starbucks released the locations of their 600 closures in the US, major “save our starbucks” campaigns are popping up all around the country! Seems like its been a well plotted strategy to me!

Check out the list of closures here to see which one near you is on the list.

what goes up, must come down. a sad, but true saying. in my opinion the downfall of starbucks started 8 months ago when they raised all their products 20 to 80 cents; plus with mcdonalds and dunkin offering more selections, less people are seeing any reason to by from the hip place.

Very cool picture, Dave. I like that.

Have you seen the Starbucks near us that are slated for closure? We got hit pretty hard. Gardens III, Abacoa, City Place Kiosk and PGA Commons. David and I are losing one of our favorites in Boston area, too. From what I hear, by the way, this is the proposed list and some of these stores might well get saved by some of these campaigns.
